Artifact Coffee in Baltimore

Just moved to Baltimore and i will certainly be returning here! Food and drinks were so good. Cutest menu options and finger lickin good! Ambiance is amazing. 💜

Getting your food is a slow process but everyone working there is super nice, helpful and friendly! The clientele can be either snobby and stuck up at times but the employees and food definitely make it better! The coffee is good it taste like... coffee. The basil creamy-iced coffee with basil is good! I think some items on the menu changes daily. I loved the breakfast Bahn Mi and went back the next day to get it but it wasn't on the menu. The pastries are good as well, I would pick it up in the morning since they do sit out under a glass top and is more fresh in the morning. Also, I like the oatmeal...I'm basic I know, but for $5 it is huge! And filling! They put blueberries and maple syrup on it. You can't go wrong! The bacon is thick cut, everything is local and fresh, the waiters are great and the chefs are bomb you can't go wrong.

Cool place to hangout with friends. Great experience with well decorated and unique interior design. Great variety of coffee and snacks. Some food options as well.

The coffee and pastries are great. Unfortunately, the coffee only comes in one small size. There is also usually a pretty sizeable wait time. Definitely worth a visit if you have the time to kill.

Amazing place with amazing food and very friendly staff. Make sure to get there early because it can be super busy at times! It is well worth the wait. Homemade maple doughnut and gluten free English muffins are to die for!

The food was very good, nice ambiance and decor. The drink that I had was very tasty, and the parking is straight. Get there early, as the spot is rather small. You can go there and chill with a drink and read, write, or simply chill. I would definitely recommend!

One of a kind place truly. Very relaxing atmosphere and the staff are really nice. The coffee always taste amazing and everything is very reasonable priced.

Small and cozy place to grab a snack, meal or coffee. On the weekends you'll likely find quite a few people there, so you might have to wait a little while, but you can grab a coffee or pastry while you eat. The food and coffee did seem a bit too oily for my taste, but tasted really good. Super hipster place, didn't have ketchup as "tomatoes aren't in season"

After hearing many wonderful reviews about this charming rustic coffeehouse, I had to check it for myself. I must say that Artifact serves a great selection of coffees, lattes, and teas. The staff is friendly and the environment is just right. Great music and plenty of parking. I tried their Fishpepper Mocha Latte off their seasonal offerings and their sautéed green salad without ham during my visit. I really enjoyed them both. Well done!

Morning coffee is probably the best tasting coffee I've had since moving here 10 years ago 🙂 Very tasty and their variety of pastries are fresh and tasty.Nice selection of breakfast and lunch choices and you can order and take out or sit in the seating area where someone comes to take your order.They have a good sized parking lot so no need to look for street parking if it's your first time there (unless it's full of course).

Great coffee and an even better menu. Not as expensive as Woodberry but damn near the same experience! Highly recommended!

Delicious coffee in charm city. Worth the trip alone but icing on the cake that it's right next to a bunch of local establishments. Really enjoyed the small bites as well as the music and ambiance. Service was top notch, as to be expected with a place like this. Must go to for coffee lovers.

A wonderful, quiet ambiance to experience. To work on your laptop, to enjoy catching up with a friend, to read the paper with your partner...love the vibe! And the offerings of course ☺️ the oatmeal with a croissant or English muffin is my go-to!

Get 'The Italian' sandwich, it's crazy crazy good and their root beer is amazing. The beef is insanely high quality, absolutely delicious, the beefsteak tomatoes are fresh and juicy and sweet and the location is cute and quiet and really quite lovely for such a busy city. Really great place to go for lunch or breakfast, a little pricey but so worth it

Waffles were delicious as was the quiche. The coffee was very fruity I should have asked for a darker roast. Great location and decor.

I came in with a group of 10 ladies on a Saturday morning, which presented a challenge for the Artifact Coffee staff since there was not a lot of room for a group that size. I really appreciate the way the staff did their best to find us a table and serve us. They were kind and considerate even when I'm sure they felt overwhelmed. All the ladies in my group had a great time and loved Artifact. It continues to be one of my favorite places.

Looking for coffee while in Baltimore and found this awesome cafe. Excellent Latte, great raw dark chocolate and cool atmosphere.

I have been going to Artifact for two years. Everytime I go I get the bread pudding and a coffee. I have always enjoyed the food and coffee.Today was different... the quality of the food has been slightly declining over the years but nothing too drastic to discourage going back. Today though, the bread pudding was the size of a piece of toast and to add insult to injury it was also burnt.I hope the quality of the food improves because today I left still hungry and disappointed.

This place has a great classic vibe. It actually has a bar in the back that has a completely different feel... Almost a South of the Border style to it. I've had their coffee and an omelet both were great.

I simply love Artifact Coffee. Their pastries are unique and always delicious! They have such unique offerings including artisan coffee, yummy treats and delicious meals. I miss living right next door where it was so simple to pop over for some tasty treats.

I ❤️ this little coffee house. Perfect place to meet clients and get some work done in Hampden. Music is always on point. Everything on menu made from scratch. Counter is always filled with fresh baked pastry, variety of lunch specials, exotic coffee, mixed drinks for that Sunday boozy brunch thing 😜 Very creative atmosphere!

Beautiful space for coffee. One of the impressive places in baltimore for quality coffee. Rustic wood and hot coffee make the heart warm. It is busy at times, but has many places. They have an old typewriter in the entrance.. type something if you have time. Nice feeling.

Amazing spot for some proper espresso based coffees. Their food is fabulous and the brunch banh mi on the French baguette is delicious (among the daily pastry selection)!

Nice place, just had a regular coffee, it was fine. Some of the food I saw looked delicious and it looked like the ones eating it were enjoying the food. To bad I ate before going for coffee. Next time will have to have the food.

Artifact definitely didn't disappoint. I had a difficult time finding it, but once I did I was glad. I love the rustic vibe and the staff are soooooooo pleasant. The menu is pretty simple and they answer any questions you may have. There are communal tables in the front and tables in the back - also tables outside. There is parking, and its connected to an apartment complex/building that has some pretty cool artwork. They also have a typewriter that you can type on. I will definitely be back!

Quiet and Cozy place for quick brunch, wait staff was helpful and provided good suggestions. Outdoor parking. Limited outdoor seating. Simple menu with a good amount of choices to cater to everyone. Has WiFi. Food was tasty. Not a good place for large groups. I would come back to try other choices on the menu.

A high-class coffee joint. I wish they had more than one size of each drink, but they make a perfect mocha every time. If it was slightly cheaper I'd go there more frequently.

A hidden gem of Hampden hon! Great coffee and farm to table breakfast fare are major key to this rustic locale. Lunch and supper items are also available. There is a rock garden on the side of the building that is perfect to meditate within!

Artifact Coffee, despite the name, is a full service café, not just a coffee house. Personally, I don't like the taste of coffee so I can't comment about the coffee in this restaurant. I had tea. It was very good. I also had tomato basil soup, also very good, and a grilled cheese sandwich, delicious.You have to know about this place in order to find it. The location is not where people passing by are likely to notice it. But your telephone GPS will find it for you, and it's worth the trip.

This place has some fantastic coffee and even better breakfast sandwiches. In normal times, can get pretty crowded so you're advised to arrive early to get a seat. Have a very easy and efficient takeout operation right now.

I loved this place! Literally everything was great. The service, atmosphere, coffee, food, you name it. I had this salad with roasted greens and an egg on it and my word it was so amazing I can't get over it. I recommend Artifact Coffee to everyone.

Wonderful food! We went on a weekend for brunch. We got a couple of cappuccinos, one plain and one with lavender. Both were great. My boyfriend got the banh mi and I got the biscuits and gravy with the egg on top. Both were good. I loved the atmosphere the most. It was very busy for a weekend!

Looked up some local coffee shop near me and found this awesome place. I had the mini biscuits and a spiced mocha. (Which was amazing!) They make really awesome designs in the coffee if you order one. The prices are reasonable and is definitely a good place to come for some down time. I intend on returning soon to try the other coffee options on the menu.

This place deserves all the positive reviews. I don't often give five stars but everything my friends and I had was excellent. The English muffins are homemade, the eggs were not over cooked, and of course the coffee was great. I had a mocha and it was not served sweet like the ones at Starbucks. Even the table service was fast and polite. Next time I'm in the area I will go back.

Atmosphere was rustic and charming. The wait staff was friendly and on top of their game. Drinks and food were good too. This is a place where you either order and go or have table service.

We each got breakfast sandwiches and they were amazing! Coffee as always is amazing, great atmosphere and good staff!!
